Temporary Protected Status for Venezuela

On March 9, 2021, DHS announced the designation of Venezuela for Temporary Protected Status for 18 months due to extraordinary economic and political crisis. Initial registration period starts on March 9, 2021 until September 9, 2022. If you need assistance, we can help you. Email eb@ebordlaw.com.

What do you need to do:

  1. Register during the initial registration period as announced.
  2. Produce proofs that you are a national of Venezuela or if you have no nationality, your last habitual residence was Venezuela. Proofs include your passport and birth certificate.
  3. Prove that you are in present in the US as of March 9, 2021.
  4. Apply for employment authorization document.
